It’s always a good day when I am introduced to designers who partner with charities for a good cause! Last week I was invited to preview the Sully Wong x ONEXONE HOPE Sneaker, which aims to raise money for the ONEXONE Paediatric Wing in Hospital Mirebalis in Haiti. After being introduced to the designers and hearing about the great partnership that this collaboration was promoting, I had to check out the sneaker for myself. The shoe which retails for $150 (plus HST), was made for ladies and gents (that’s right it’s unisex!), and is a limited edition creation (only 360 pairs were created). Which means: when they are gone, they are gone. It also features the signature colours of the ONEXONE organization and the best part is, 50% of the proceeds from every sale will go to the cause.
